The Only thing missing from Rim's Offer is some Ze

EMC paid $2.1 billion for RSA in 2006 and  Rim is offering $66 million....yeah right!
ECC technology is in the early adoption phase, with RFID, Smartcards, Gaming etc, it can only grow

I  have to believe that the best defence for Rim is a good offence. (in the smartphone market)

I'm sure that Nokia.....who paid over $8 billion for Navteq (mapping company) and have just   completed their acquisition of Symbian , would love to have Certicom under their Umbrella.

As well, Rim paid NTP $612 million US to settle a patent dispute in March of 2006.

That number probably opened up some eyes at Certicom, leading to the Sony Litigation that  commenced in May of 2007.
Thank goodness that Certicom has a Shareholder Rights Plan to protect lowball offers

Certicom announces their earning sometime to-night.
I urge everyone to listen live to tommorrows conference call  to get an update on the offer
