Harper is a poor leader with hidden agendas. He blatantly lied during the election and tried to rule by choking the finances of the opposition.  Harper was never given a Majority Mandate and tried to financially prevent the opposition from defeating the "Government" as they would have no funds for advertising another campaign. Instead of dealing with a world wide recession that will and is impacting Canada and Canadains.
 I am a fifth generation Albertan and the Coalition Government is better than a Party that has a hidden agenda. The Alliance or Reform party  was a seperatist movement in the West to counter the Bloc. The party made a coalition and or takeover of the Progressive Conservative Party in the hopes of forming a Government. I used to be a progressive Conservative member but i would not nor do i support the Seperatist and racist overtones of the Reform Party to which Harper was a member. Not all westerners are ignorant and uneducated people that are blind supporters of a party that was founded and supported by Western Seperatists.
Harper caused the problem due to arrogance and ignorance. His party should never be allowed to run the country after demonstrating their lack of leadership and support of Canadians. This will be a good time for the old progressive Conservatives within the Conservative Party to regain control and oust the underlying seperatists and racists from the heirarchy of the party.
Until then the best thing for Canada and Canadians is the Coalition Government.
