The Conservaties were doing a lot of economic steps even before this mess like giving the provinces 6 billion for infrastructure and more to come... they expanded CMHC and helped the Banks and yes if they were given a chance they were extending benefits and providing help for exporters and businesses to try and keep people working. The left leaning CBC doesn't talk about that do they!
