RE: RE: RE: Nice movement - FranzYou wanted to type EDR??? Well good for you for typing EDV!!! I used to be in EDR and was looking at it recently and IMO it is extremely overvalue. I can't for the life of me figure out why it maintains the market cap it does when EDV and others get hammered so badly. I think the best jr our there is actually one you've not heard about and it is Troy, T.TRY. It is an Aussie microcap gold play with an 8 year DIVIDEND record, with a new mine in Brazil which any day now will announce commercial production. Mill's up and running for a few months now w/ lots of throughput. Will produce at least 5 years of 50,000 oz at $300 cost (its old mines, both of which are essentially now depleted in 2008, averaged under $250 aka proven mgt as a low cost producer). Also all exploration is EXPENSED hence the current year's lousy financials). Tons of exploration yet to do. They have millions of tons of high grade iron ore sitting next tot he gold which will move the cost to near nil (given a decent iron ore price...maybe not a given!). Cost to put iron ore into production is just $5 million. In addition to whatever equipment they have from the two ops that are depleing/depleted they have a fully functional mill in Australia in storage waiting for the right participation deal. They can do deals earning a 77% return on their investment in Comaplex, sold to Agnico. New to the TSX w/ a $2.80 pp in Jan 08, it is selling UNDER cash in the bank of A$60 m at the end of Sept, and they are completely under the radar. Downside? Liquidity sucks!
