Having platinum available without having a deep mine is just unbelievable, frankly.  I'm not saying I don't believe it, but platinum is almost always hard rock, deep mines, high electricity costs, safety issues.  This is just amazing!  I've never heard of an alluvial platinum mine, but what do I know...  platinum of course made news this week when it priced BELOW gold for the first time in a long long time.
