Well, hedge funds typically like to keep their investments for as short as possible so they must have had an exit plan going into this. The 80 NCST distribution is the first step in squeezing out as much as possible from Nucryst in the short term. After that, I would guess they would push for a liquidation and/or a sale to a large publicly traded company so that they can unload their shares.
