This gold hedge profit or loss is just the price of gold at the end of the quarter, it really doesn't have any effect on the companies cash flow. The higher the price of gold the better even though WGI may show a large hedge loss, as long as they plan to sell into the hedge at $801 it's just an accounting entry. The unhedged 100,000+ ounces / year is where true extra cash flow will come from.
