cero casales test underway?According to the exeter web page the deepest vertical penetration of the caspiche deposit is 2600 feet. Since holes 15 and 16 were drilled at the same inclination then presumably the 1000 meter hole 15 established the 2600 foot penetration point. Hole 15 was 1000 meters or 3900 feet long. Ergo there is roughly two feet vertically drilled for every 3 feet of drilling length. 2600 feet over 3900 feet equals a 2:3 ratio.
The company says it is going to test the deposit to depth. Obviously the best and most meaningful target would be along vector 16. The original hole 16 was just short of 800 meters or 2600 feet. Ergo its vertical depth penetration reached about 1730 feet. But if you add in the two 200 meter step back holes into the equation then the length of vector 16 test will be at least 200 meters further then drill hole 15. Ergo if the drill test is successfully completed it will attain a vertical depth of around 3450 feet.
The cero casales ore body extends to about 4600 feet vertically. Nevertheless at this preliminary stage in the caspiche drilling campaign the company must be testing for a cero casales like clone at caspiche.... I suspect this second step back hole is well underway. Vector 16 being the prime time piece of real estate at caspiche and all...The bonus of course being the chance to add extra footage to the horizontal dimension of vector 16.
Step forward hole one on vector 16 will test for the horizontal extension over and beyond the end of the initlal drill hole 16. Ergo step back holes one and two might be extended to cover any horizontal extensions the step forward hole might possibly turn up. Ergo there is some theoretical possibility that the 3450 vertical depth test be exceeded. We'll see soon enough
