BZA's best asset?
BZA's best asset? The JV with Hawthorne has been the only bright light in BZA's stable. The cash payments made have kept their cash position close to their MC of $5 million. The rest of their properties in virtual hibernation. Who would have guessed the 1M oz gold at Taurus, in the NW corner of B.C. and a deal with Cusac Mines would lead to BZA's only income. The Hawthorne PP on Dec 15 was for $500,000. What chance would they have to coff up their payment 6 months from now? This property is the nearest to production, with the highgrade at Table Mt. and the mill and infrastructure allready in place. The former heads of Bema Gold and Eldorado Gold are the drivers here to be a major gold player in B.C. The 13% of Hawthorne, was the best deal to be made, with Copperstone and Fenelon 3000 miles away, what chance would you have to develop these properties anyway. The last great gold rushes happened in B.C. and the Yukon. Huge placer finds but the lode gold remains.
The Hawthorne read.
