RE: Takeover Price?? Lets get some discussion goinIn response to my last post, if you are willing please cut and past what you think is the likely option for Vale/ODB at this point (or please add another option if you see other outcomes good or bad) and post the reason why you are choosing that option.  If it involves a cash offer for the Maracas project interest or a cash per share offer for LGO shares, please post what number you think would be the likely offer and reasoning why and if you would be willing to accept the offer.  Please, post all opinions positive or negative.  I'd like to get everyones feeling on this.  Please try and be realistic.  I'm not looking for the five dollars for everything because the company is going under or $5 per share and its going to the moon type of comments.  Also, only if you are willing, post the rough number of shares that you currently control.  If there are any significant institutional holders that read this and would like to weigh in without disclosing full position size because of possible identification, please list as 'significant ownership, several million shares.....' or something to that effect.  (pretty sure the fund managers aren't reading stockhouse but who knows......)

I believe in the following option as a probable outcome.

Option 1)
For Vale/ODB to buy out MFNB's 5.5%, and buy LGO's interest entirely right now for say $100MM......  and put Maracas into production themselves with 100% ownership ASAP....

See my last post for the reasons why.  I think a cash offer between $50MM and $100MM would be offered and I would willing to consider a 'yes' vote to the transaction.  It would result in LGO having 25-50 cents per share cash and still own the rights to Northern Dancer.

Thanks very much for your input.  Don't know if this will go anywhere but I am interesting in others opinions and potential outcomes for LGO and thought it was worth a try......
