Conversation with Harp, ResultsGood Evening. I spoke with Harp today concerning operations and the results. The reason I found we were not able to get a hold of him during the last week is he was on vacation. He's been busy catching up with investors questions today.
Concerning the resource grades that I, Public Heel and others calculated: we are all wrong. The reason is we all made assumptions about the concentrate weight. The 5.1 kg of concentrate was not the total of the 19.2 tonnes (19,200 kg). The 5.1 kg came from a larger mass of concentrate. I asked Harp how much was the "master" concentrate that the 5.1 kg came from. He said that the master concentrate coming out of the 19.2 tonnes was not accurately weighed. Sometime this week Harp may be getting an approximate weight of the master concentrate for the first batch but he would not commit to a number without the data. Harp reiterated that the purpose of the first round of tests was to verify the presence of PGM's and other metals so that accuracy was not a requirement. Therefore anyone, myself included, have not used the proper concentrate weight to obtain a resource estimate. Over the course of our conversation I got a gut feel that the master concentrate is more than a ton. That is not a Harp quote but my rough guesstimate.
The concentrate coming from 224 samples has been shipped to Echo Labs for assaying. The material is about 15 kg of concentrate. For this second round, Douglas will have an accurate weight of the the total concentrate that the 15 kg came from. Harp says that when these samples are finished we will be able to determine a "true grade" since we will know exactly how much total concentrate weight that the portion of 15 kg was taken. Results of the second round of samples will likely be available the week of January 19th. Harp said he intends on having a post round 2 results conference call and may have his chief geologist on the call to answer questions.
