" what happens to a stock value when a (let's say) 3 million oz find is confirmed?"

If it happens with DLKM, it'll depend on how much dirt they have to process to get the 3m oz.

For example, if they had to process the entire deposit, that 3m oz wouldn't be enough to make it economical. If the 3m oz could be retrieved from 1/10 of the site, then they'd be OK.

Let's say that the next assay yields an economical result. Say, 0.5 g/t. We still would probably not know how much deposit that grade could be applied to. let's face it, these guys are, at best, "indifferent" to basic arithmetic, and we should not expect them to change very quickly.
