RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Similar Jr Mining CompaniesCoconuts, the copy of the article brought an amateur mining question to my mind. I had thought about it in the past but dismissed it as a non-issue as none of the experts seemed to make metion of it and i havent heard DLKM refer to it either. Perhaps someone with a little more advanced geolocial knowledge can explain this for me.
The article refers to slower mining due to the "low grade of the alluvial material". Now when i read this i understand it as meaning the QUALITY of the gold being mined is not that great. However, In doing research on this, it would seem to me that referring to the grade of gold actually implies to a QUANTITY of the gold present in a given area. As it pertains to DLKM it seems we have all been soley concerned about the quanity of gold present.Which is fine, we need to know. But what i am wondering, in terms of mining an alluvial deposit, does the quality of the gold not matter? Is an ounce of gold an ounce of gold and quality doesnt really come into play?
Any explanation would be much appreciated.
