Repurchasing shares is a " fools game " even for s & p 500 co's. Just another way to pump earnings.
Now for GNG? In this environment? Doubly foolish. Preservation of capital is key.
If you want to do a " back door pump " of another pm stock you own.....go to their board. Pleeeeze!

Dumping in early 09' is troubling.
I've written off ( mentally ) my GNG holdings already.
At this point...anything over a penny is profit.
