MurrkyI just wanted to mention that ANON eg House 1 are usually hedge funds, Pinetree Capital and Mineralfields are just 2 of many of these entities whom the Canadian securities allow to not name themselves. Many times its the same hedge funds that finance these small companies by buying there Private Placements.
ANON, makes money both ways on the market, A. by driving the stock up and slowly selling until she gradually goes back to close to where they bought into the stock. B by selling the shares "short" which is legal if there are enough out there to sell. (Ther also "naked short sell" meaning they sell shares they are unable to get, which is illegal however in Canada the regulators turn a blind eye to it.
The Hedge funds have huge leverage and resources and the more liquid a stock eg over 100 million shares, the more money they can make buying, selling and shorting, while the little street investor has little chance of competeing, or is even savvy to the fact.
You stated "all your eggs are in the one basket" and you are willing to take a chance with GNG. Although I am not keen on a one horse race I do feel you will eventually make some cash with GNG and it is one of the rare few I would choose to own within the Venture stocks, believe me I have done and continue to do reserarch on a daily bases. What you may want to do however is set a $%point that would allow you to exit with some cash or at least at that point take your initial investment out and use to obtain another. Just my thoughts.
The G20, including China, Russia, India, the USA and Canada have all agreed to jump start the economies and creating jobs. A large infusion of $$$$Trillions of dollars will be spent in infrastructure during the next couple of years. Including roads, schools bridges etc etc in all of the G20 countries. Before the Credit Crunch began about 1.5 years ago metals minerals, gold, and silver were flying towards new all time highs because of shortage vs demand, since then mines have been closed and many new mines mothballed.
Can you begin to imagin what is going to happen when all the global demand starts excellarating over the next year ? I hope you can, because thats why I am collecting all of the best little stocks I can before the brokerages.
The banks/lenders have been injected with government funds and are loaded, the prime interest rates around the world are at the lowest ever, so the future will be very bright for at least a couple of years, after that ? well thats another story too long for this board.
Good luck with your investing,
Cooper.
