RE: RE: RE: RE: buy fri sell mon theorykeep an eye on goldcorp it is options expiry and this has done some fancy foot work going into expiry the last 5 months. BMO downgraded G last week and as strange as it seems they did upgrade it twice last year the first time being when they were shopping a big block . Gold is not immune to falling like other commodities. if you think that way you will be handed your lunch just like those that thought Potash would not sink. Oil could not go below $100 a barrel, copper would not go below $4, Grain would not hit lows and Natural gas would not sell at multi year lows. heck this all in less then 6 months. The trend on Gold has been great to me for over a year. It has never had three Monday trades lower off a friday close. if it happens again on goldcorp per say I would even be inclined to do a 180 and short into Friday and cover monday morning. the discipline has to be there as those that did not have it are down large. look at the price two weeks ago monday, this past monday...now look. Gold could very easily come back to $300. Will it? I don't know. but it can just like oil dropped to $33 last month..from $147.. The nice play moneyfornothing was selling. I have been short Suncor for over a week playing it just for expiry purposes. was a bit early when I shorted it at $23.25 average as it went up to $25.31 the next day.. laughing here now can't lose boxed it with the call options.
Another Tidbit? Capital One like clock work. short it two weeks before expiry and cover goign into expiry. this was $33.26 when I shorted it. can't lose there also. I'll let you know what my move will be on Goldcorp and Friday near the close around 3:55Pm.
