responses from Investor RelationsWell I can share with what info I have ,,,,,,
I called 3 times prior to the Christmas break . Called Ir and then I talked to Bruce twice.
I actually talked to IR and Bruce about 5 minutes apart . I was seeing if both had stories that matched ,,,,LOL ,,,
and they seemed too.....
1) They had 3 separate choices of financing they were looking into ( to finance production.)
They made it sound like it was going well , and having the mine financed to turn key operation was helping with those negotiations....
First option was ,,,,,,,,,,,there is more money available from Pacific which,,,,, they already have a relationship with,,,, another was a Long term line of credit they were working on,,,,,and third another party along the same lines,,,
One thing they said was the next wave of meetings for financing would be after Jan.16/09 for people they have been working with would not be back from xmas holidays till then,,,,,,,,, and actually sounds long ,,,,but thats also the case with Barrick executives also ,,,
2) They were also seeing about now re-negotiating the mine contracts....
For now things have sure changed sice they started the construction of the mine...
The copper mines have been shutting down for now the price as copper as we all know has been under water for some time....
. It seems the contracts a year ago were scarce and everyone was all tied up with a Booming economy and the contracting company's could almost name there price ,,,,,
Now things have changed and it looks like people are willing to work much cheaper,,,,,,,So they were trying a bit of hard -Ball to try and get the price per ounce down,,,
That's all that really sticks out in my mind for now,,,,,,,,But if anyone wouldl like Bruce's cell # I would sure send it on,,,,,,,,,,,I would suggest you call and get all the info first hand,,,,
On another note :
kind of interesting,,,,,,,,,,,,, I was watching an interview on BNN with the CEO of Alamos Gold. ( AGI ) . They are in Mexico also ,,,
Anyone who has followed this Gold play knows how successful it's been. Zero debt , and producing under $350.00 per ounce........trades between 7-8 Bucks p/share
Anyway the CEO was talking about they are on the Hunt for a Jr. in Mexico that has a mine in place ,,,,,,just saying that a new mine has the Value of a minumum of 100 Million and it's also takes time ( and they don't want to wait,,,,,,,,)
They have plenty of cash on hand ,,,,,producing about 125,000 ounces of Gold /p/year and are ready to Buy something immediately,,,,,,,
I am not one to lay awake thinking of Take-overs ,,,,,
actually, I get a bit Pi$$ed everytime I see it on here and its pumper BS and a false alarm....,,,,,,,,,, But what Alamos Gold was looking for ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,seemed to be exactly what we have,,,,,,,just found it very interesting......
Kind of ironic we are in Mexico also ,,,,
Also the timing seems to be right on with this economy ,,,,
I see 2 more smaller Banks in the USA bit the Biscuit today ( saturday) ,,,,,,,,and the daily news you can hardly get read it's getting so Bad,,,,,,,,,Youd think the people will soon get sick of Banks and Goverment Lying to them,,,,,( That's as polite as I can be on that subject ) ,,,,,,,,incredilble reallly,,,,
please make sure you call Timmins yourself ,,,,,,,,,,,,
IGood Luck in 2009
