Streakwave Wireless, Inc. Announces new distribution agreement with Vecima

Streakwave Wireless, Inc. ("Streakwave"), a global distributor of wireless
solutions, today announced the signing of a new distribution agreement
with Vecima Networks Inc. ("Vecima") (TSX:VCM), a leading supplier of
WiMAX broadband solutions and other networking technologies. Streakwave is
the first US-based distributor for Vecima primarily focused on the
VistaMAX(R) family of solutions.
"Adding Vecima's line of WiMAX equipment substantially expands the
Streakwave product offering in the wireless area," said Carl Moberg, Chief

the WiMAX Forum(TM) offering a complete line of gear in the 1.9GHz,
3.5GHz, 3.65GHz and 5.8GHz frequencies. Streakwave is known for being an
aggressive distributor pushing advanced technologies to the market. The
partnership of the two companies will aid in bringing this technology to
all service providers at a reasonable cost."

Streakwave Wireless will stock and distribute the Vecima line of WiMAX
products from their two warehouses located in San Jose, CA. and Salt Lake
City, UT. Full systems, including the 3.5, 3.65 and 5GHz base stations and
subscriber units are now available.
