resources vs reserves etc ........................
resources vs reserves etc ........................seems to me --Rock not confused Eggy is
43-101 usually IS a resource ( and the category is defined in Canada and Aussieland etc)
Only senior operating companies have significant RESERVES
which require a large grid of very close holes say 25 to 50 feet to follow the deposit shape etc
Most developing projects are only resources and get a valuation of 25 to 125 an oz
depending on the progress and quality etc
Take over bids have been in the $120 to 200 an oz range
for RESOURCES ( ie often with 20 - 30 ish METER spacing)
US reporting requires RESERVES when mentioning value
which then would miss all the share growth
from Resource delineation
Which is part of reason that many better jr mine stocks list in V, TO and Aussieland
Did not ARU ( and Eagle? ) get taken over with just a high quality RESOURCE not RESERVE report?
And remember that DMM felt their ( Zaruma) deposit was so viable that they proceeded with pp's ( Sprott)
for underground and plant development , without a fully drilled out
bankable feasibility study phase
Keep waiting for a reserve and I can sell you my shares way higher
Are you just not-so-fresh out of ( off of ) the Egg carton? :-)
Here's to a steady climb
