RE: RE: RE: financing
RE: RE: RE: financinghello my old friend. Schil I read your post re S. Africa. I am heavily into the ROF with NOT and a few other plays including FWR. As you probably know there is a massive amount of Chromite up there getting close to more that 100,000,000 tons but the problem is that nobody in North America has much experience with Chrome.
This caused a beehive of activity with everyone doing DD to find out as much as they could about Chrome. This DD brought us to Africa where most is mined from. They have lots there to be sure but as you say, there is instability.
The instability I refer to is the lack of Hydro. It is intermittent. As your son- in- law has correctly observed, the health and safety issues are unbelievable.
IMHO this all bodes well for North America where there is stability as well as Hydro. Canada has lots for the Chrome up north and I don't think FCO will have any problems in that regard either.
A major has just bought in to one of the plays KWG. This is the start of the NR:
MINERAL EXPLORATION COMPANY KWG ENTERS INTO AN OPTION AGREEMENT WITH CLIFFS NATURAL RESOURCES INC. 1/21/2009 9:42 AM - Canada NewsWire MONTREAL, Jan. 21, 2009 (Canada NewsWire via COMTEX News Network) -- << /NOT FOR DISTRIBUTION TO U.S. NEWS SERVICES OR FOR DISSEMINATION IN THE UNITED STATES/ Symbol on TSX-Venture Exchange: KWG Shares issued and outstanding: 288,134,821 >> KWG Resources Inc. ("KWG" or the "Company") (TSXV: KWG; OTCBB: KWGBF) is pleased to announce that it has entered into a an option agreement (the "Option Agreement") with Cliffs Natural Resources Inc. ("Cliffs") (NYSE: CLF) an Ohio Corporation. The Option Agreement grants Cliffs an irrevocable option (the "Option") to purchase and acquire certain securities of KWG in the aggregate amount of US$3,500,000. KWG indicated that Cliffs has expressed interest in KWG's potential claims to ferro chrome deposits and that the Option Agreement provides that Cliffs will not participate in any distribution by KWG of the equity of Debuts Diamonds Inc. So your Post of one sentence actually says one heck of a lot. All of these issues will come into play and are becoming more and more a matter of national security for Canada and the U.S. Mind the U.S. better step in and capture or kill the drug dealers on the U.S. Mexican border first.....:) Don |
