Operating costs for mining and recovery are estimated by the prelim as $381/oz.
To that must be added the $788 million capex or about $146 per oz.
Total cash costs will be nearly $550 per oz, if the prelim is accurate , which it never is.
OSK has a great gold deposit , but the location is not ideal.
If it were in low cost Mexico, this stock would be over $10 and the mine would now be in operation.
This is why CSG, with 2 operating mines in Mexico area, and 4 million oz is such a better buy at $0.50 , as its producing gold is valued at just $11 per oz.
