Before even a take over offer the stock will shoot up. BP or Total would make a quick snack of MGX within short order or anyone that needs natural gas to extract or upgrade the heavy oil in Fort Mac. The crazy thing is if the Alaska pipeline gets the green light first, Canada could become a major customer of Alaskan gas. The majors would make Canada dependent on imported natural gas until their pipeline and gas fields are paid for and all costs recovered. And if that happened MGX could drill and discover trillions of cubic feet of gas that can be used to heat igloos for tourists that want to take pictures of polar bears because it won't be coming south anytime soon. Let's hope there is a positive decision by next month even if it requires some modifications.
