RE: Assuming 1.6g/cm......Hey King of the Kong...
Did you see that line of text at the end of the third paragraph that says...
"It should also be noted that the average gold grade in the conglomerates, which is the primary mining target, is 2.6 grams per cubic metre. The 2.6 grams is significantly higher than the average grade of the samples tested."
That throws a whole new light on the subject. Apparently the conglomerates which are deeper, are where they will be mining most of their material. And the conglomerates are yielding 2.6 g / cu metre.
So take that other number of 89,507,679 and divide it by 1.6 and multiply it by 2.6 and you get a mind boggling 145,449,978 oz of gold.
According to a friend of mine who has been in senior management of numerous mining companies for 35 years, the entire Klondike gold rush only has around 40 or 50 million oz of gold. He also said that if they 89 mm oz is right, this would be one of the biggest gold mines in the world.
I know I'm holding and selling my first tranche at $10/share!!!
