RE: RE: Various Densities of SandRicherNow, thank you for the excellent post. I think many of us drew the same conclusions as you did without the science (facts) to back it up. What I found missing in everything though, is any indication of the size of the area the samples were taken from. Can you share with us any standards that one would use to guage an alluvial deposit? I mean does one normaly do a grid with each hole 50 or say 100 meters apart ect. This way it would seem you could judge the volumne by distance and depth, If all these holes are close together then these samples will simply have to be followed up with more exstending the area of minerization.
