RE: RE: RE: Nice ActionAll good points, like to point out one more item needed to be added.   The biggest issue right now is not the US dollar its all the other currencies that are underwater like the US dollar.    I'm sure there are a lot of Icelanders wishing they had gold.   The question is how many more countries will go that way and how big of an economy will they have???   Could we see the Pound....Euro...etc   I think the gold buying is more of a reflection of people's insecurity with there own local currency more then it is with the  US dollar right now.    I agree the US dollar is a massive problem but that is the long term issue.    The US dollar will be around for a while as it is the only way to trade goods right now.   We are seeing an evolution away from it, but other currencies will get hit before the US dollar.   Personally I think we are seeing flight away from the Euro and that is propelling gold.
