RE: Pappy

RE: PappyMama: Think about this. BBD peaked around $25 a share in 2001, dropped over the next 2 years or thereabouts to just under $2. Then gloriously rose to near $10 if I recall this past summer. It is after all a highly cyclical type of stock. If a similar pattern emerges in this cycle, then $2 is certainly possible. Even one and change-given the fact that the company is on better financial footing in this drop, and the fact that we started dropping from a lower level. Mind you I'm not sure in terms of the stock splits over the years, and if the levels are comparing apples to apples.

I until recently could not entertain the bomber hitting and staying in the 3's until recently. Now I really believe that this downturn is going to be longer than others we've experienced in the last 30 years. I am starting to believe that this downturn is a depression. However I also believe that the govts. will float things again in relatively short order. $2 or less--count on it in my estimation. Load up the truck when this occurrs because several years out BBD could likely be over 10 again. We'll have to see.
