RE: 65,000 shares at $2.50NO
A price of a stock never trades at the buyout rate.
Look at NCX which was bought out at $6US.
It is trading at $5.63US.
A stock always trades at a discount between 7% and 10% to the buyout offer unless
the market feels that there is another bid coming.
In DGC's case, it is presently at 2.39 insteat of .2571. This is a 7% discount.
PDX is usually been trading at 2.45 the past few weeks.
As the date gets closer, we will move closer to .2571.
ALSO remember, we do not get cash but DGC shares instead.
This means that if the deal closes on March 31 and DGC is at $11 and PDX is at $2.75, it may take 1 week
for you to see your NEW DGC stock in your account.
If DGC drops to $9 by that time, you will not have been able to sell it.
That is also a problem.
Don't think that once PDX is finished trading that you will see DGC shares in your account the next day.
There may be a 5 to 7 day delay where you are in LIMBO.
