RE: RE: take over?hey lash, et all
take a lesson from the master. He speaks boldy, but more importantly he delivers results. I have followed this guys projections, predictions, and analysis for about 7 years now and he is rarely wrong. He is the ultimate "Reality Check". If you think you are feeling bullish or ballsy for the day, then make sure to check in with Mr Sprott.

note the wording, and how he doesnt use it lightly. Yes he speaks the "D word", not as a possibility, but a matter of time if its not already here. Also note the strong commentary on american politicians, policy makers, and even barrack (who is a lawyer and really knows nothing about economics) for all of you everyday citizens / americans who think he will save the day.
Someone like Eric Sprott with the iconic and respected status he garners does not throw around words like "moronic" and "in denial" for fun. This is serious, and I agree, the morons have tapped out a nation, and we are the little brother who is getting F*(&ked over as well, indirectly. The lies, corruption and incompetence that sprott points out could be the death knell of all of our bank accounts and standards of living that in day and age we seem to think are owed to us.
Funny that a company like Teck is divesting of its gold assets, and at cut rates. The dispositions have yeilded about 50% of what gold assets typically garner on a per oz reserve basis, all while gold is at a peak. Does that sound like smart management?
For you gold bashers, wake up, wake up, wake up, its as legitimate as an investment as all the rest, if not more so.
Reading thru sprotts publications, going back 5 yrs will confirm why he is known in canada on the same levels as the great Mr Buffett, only on a year over year basis, Sprott has outperformed Buffett by a long shot.
History says that no company, government, economic dynasty, or even civilization for that matter can last forever. in fact something like 400 to 600 years is the longest duration in modern human history of a civilization (and its currency) before it ceases to exist. Not to be "apocaliptical", but what is going to happen it the US goes bankrupt? war, starvation, mayhem, not of it is out of the question.
Buffett uses the term "ALL IN" in poker terminology to describe the position the american politicians have put the nation in. That to me, means they may not make it. Judging by their assessment of their own mess, it would seem there really is no hope. The question is can Chindia / BRIC make up for the lost 1/3 of world economic activity? Im woudln't pretend to know the answer to that question, but it sure makes you wonder if the bottom really is here.
