RE: RE: HRG will be over .75 within 6 months IWhy? Because they want to make money! Where exactly does everyone think their liquidity comes from, and their ability to do deals moving forward? It is as though suddenly the whole concept of public companies has gone away here. If you follow the logic, nobody would be public! People LIKE public vehicles in markets where the value is reflected, and then some, in the price of the shares. It gives them a currency, potential to do deals, which right now is DIFFICULT. How many of the largest gold mining operations are private? Why? How are the big guys doing deals? Cash and stock. How are they raising money? Issuing more shares to the public, or investor groups. Here, it is like suddenly everyone has forgotten these most basic facts, and conjured up a scenario where Severstal is different. By the way: THEY are a public company now! Why have they not taken out all their share holders to date????
I think you are wrong. You could be right. But there is no certainty in the arguments, and even a big doubt. For example: you keep saying they will bid .20 when EVERYONE knows that NOBODY is going to accept that price. Further, you act as thought this is different than ANY other bid, which, in case you have not noticed, goes the other way generally, ESPECIALLY in areas where the markets are hot. NONE looking better than gold right now. In other words, when somebody wants to take over they UP the bid when they are not successful. But again: you fail to consider, that Severstal may actually WANT this vehicle, and see making a fortune by developing what they have and getting even bigger through this listing. Don't rule it out, as it actually seems just as possible as these other negative scenarios to me. Don't get me wrong. Anything is possible, I am not naive. But in any case I see a higher price in the end, which is what it looks like is happening as we speak. The usual day traders, trying to make a penny or two per day, but the stock is trending up now, and getting harder to accumulate in any large way. Glad I got my big blocks at far lower prices, because I think it goes WAY HIGHER.
