Its Galore Creek is located within the territory of the Tahltan in northwestern British Columbia, approximately 150 kilometers northwest of Stewart.

RE: Why short selling should be restricted,,,Let's hope that the upcoming meeting reinstates the uptick ruling..it was removed in Aug 2007 after the ESC  was pressured and since then the market volatility has been horrendous....the number of times that swings of more than 200 points in the DOW over the last one year have exceeded  the total of the 1990's.....this ruling came about after the great recession as investers were terrorizing markets with shorting in every direction....removing the ability to short on rising SP will surely bring more stabiliity back to markets...

On the TSX...TCK is the second largest short (over 35 million shares) beside Bomardier (BBD.B)....at just over 37 million....it does not take much to change the direction of TCK when fund managers decide to make it....just look at the number of trades verus share volume....Stockwatch.ca has this info..

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission said Friday it will meet on April 8
to consider whether to propose short sale price test rules.

The SEC issued its agenda for the meeting, but did not provide more details on what it might propose.
