BC HYDROThere has been no deal signed. No deal will be signed as NO organization will sign a deal unless BC Hydro amends or cancels the old EPA and issues a new or amended EPA with current pricing terms of at least $120 per Mwh.
The existing $80 per Mwh EPA is un-financeable even if one was to buy the entire project and turbines from West LB at the full loan value of $131 MM Canadian.
The first sign of a deal will be BC Hydro announcing the winning bids of their latest call to power due to be announced in April but more like June. BC Hydro only has the political will to do this, if in fact it would do this, while it hands out other EPA's to project proponents from other bids. The amended EPA will also need BC Utilities Commission approval which could add 60 days.
In the meantime we have to hope that the company, its directors or handlers from Toronto do not double cross the shareholders by offering a large private placement at 3 cents per share to friends and acquaintances.
Time will tell.
