RE: RE: Financing

RE: RE: FinancingHi Nigel and Sky: We seem to have our own little board here - none of the omnipresent bashers present on other SH boards which is nice. I must say I find the financing announcement very difficult to fully comprehend. One proof of the company's credibility might be the success, or lack thereof, of IVW's efforts to sell $5million of additional notes to "additional investors." Those investors would presumably be sophisticated enough to fully evaluate IVW's potential to pull out of its nosedive and repay the notes. I don't know the significance of the "standard anti-dilution provisions."

Looking for positives here, it must be some consolation that IVW has been able to secure this financing at all given the terrible conditions existing in the capital markets. I am in some other junior miners and all are having trouble getting money and, when they do, the terms are very disadvantageous to  the borrower. I also keep coming back to thoughts of  YMG, the Chinese miner, and their possible interest in owning the IVW assets in Australia 100%, particularly at today's bargain basement price. There were large volumes traded a few weeks ago and I was guessing that the Chinese might be the buyers.

Like you Nigel I can only hang on and hope for the best. I bought more stock at the current price levels thinking it couldn't possibly go any lower. And to think this all started with a few hundred dead birds. Maybe the lesson to be learned is that an event of that kind can only result in at least a short term, and possibly long term, downward pressure on the share price. I believe we could have sold for around $1.25 when the bird deaths were announced. "The good old days."

Hang in there!
