RE: RE: Griffin Offer

RE: RE: Griffin OfferGriffin's principal asset appears to be the Caiyiaying Zinc mine in China. It also produces gold, silver and LEAD from this mine as by-products. Caiyiaying is just over 300 K north-west of Beijing. The board is international in makeup including two Chinese gentlemen. The mine is a JV with a couple of Chinese companies with Griffin as the operator. Their shares are traded on the AIM market in London and are down by about 70% in the last two years. In December last the mine was shut down for three months due to the price of zinc, and necessary maintenance. There is northing on the website to suggest it has re-opened although the three months is up. At the time of their last report Griffin has a lot of cash as their operation has been profitable. I agree that this potential bid looks opportunistic and like you all await IVW's response with great interest.
