I agree it's not good news, but I don't think it reflects any success or failures on any of their projects.  It's just pure greed, plain and simple.  I will be voting against it. 

Instead of focusing on lining their pockets, they should get Lotchi moving and they will all be rewarded including us shareholders.  The DRC is an oil field.  They need a JV to get it moving.  Although I think 1711 is a great prospect and will be successful one day, the DRC is a better prospect for this oil jr.  It's way cheaper for them to drill.  Tullow is close to a deal to get back into the DRC last I heard.  The country is a bit unstable, but it's the best chance they have right now.
