RE: RE: RE: RE: If you look at the level 2yes it was a scam. The people who used to work for MPE probably saw the large potential that MPE had and wanted to do a get rich fast scheme by doing the same thing ONLY BEING ILEGAL and thats why the their being charged. Especially on the OTC, they did it on there because no one really checks unless things go weird, like the stock price jumping from 92 cents to 28 dollars instantly. Rules on Venture are much stricter and doing something like that is very difficult, unlike the OTC where anyone could make up a company that doesnt exist and have it trading as a lie and a shell.
Here was the PR on it:

MPE is a real company, its not FCCE. If MPE was associated with FCCE in a scam the SEC would of have halted MPE instantly. Im sure they went through and looked through MPE's financials to see if it was legit or a scam like FCCE and its still trading and doing business so it cant be a fake company.
Ron Farrell is the IR guy for MPE, but I dont think they would give him the money to pump the stock. There was less than $10,000 purchsed in shares and if the company wanted to get the volume going and promoting it, they would of given him much more cash and really pushed it. If he bought say $50,000 worth at market price and drove the stock price up then yes I would believe that he was promoting/pumping it. But he bought small chunks over several days, not even enough to move the stock price. I think hes just likes the stock and the companys direction and it probably buying for himself. Not trying to say im right but we cant assume its all fake.
Yes the $2 million is soft dollars, but you cant assume that its not possible for MPE to do. It is definetly a waiting game and risk to see if the agreements get fulfilled or not, but thats why its very cheap at the moment. Once and like you said IF the contracts get fulfilled, then MPE will be much more reputable AND SP will increase from this.
Overall I think that things can go either way, but I like the prospects and I think this is a better play for the price versus a exploration company playing the guessing game while drilling for gold/oil ect.
