Kerogen ...You RARELY find mining geologists using seismic. Obviously you do not know this. Not that it does not have its place and function. Its results however are still subject to human interpretation. Drill core on the other hand is what you see is what you get. NO these guys did NOT just drill wildcat holes. Give your head a shake. A good drill program expands ever outward as long as the 'hits' keep coming. And each hole contributes to the database and understanding. Aerial geophysics is great .. but first the method is tested over an area PROVEN by drilling. Then it's Gung Ho after that. The results are called 'Signatures'. Shee Eeeshhh !!! Go shoot some more Seismic somewhere else.
