Good Scotch? wasted?

Good Scotch? wasted?    First of all, don't even talk of wasting good scotch, even in jest. If you must bust me over the head with something, use something worthless and pretty solid. Take a good swing, and if you can try and get a second smash in before I realize what's happening and get upset, it would be in your best interest.

Interesting thing about these forums. A few years back I was involved with a project with my company and we began the communicating with a forum something like this one (not completely interactive, but close) for about an hour every couple of days. There were around 10-12 people involved and the plan was that we would exchange ideas and have everything sewn up in a couple of months. Cost and time effective.

Three months later we were getting nowhere....and 3 or 4 of the participants were getting pretty nasty in the discussions......company decides to bring most of us (8) to Toronto and get things done in a couple of days.

It was odd.........the few nasty ones that wasted no time in letting me know I was an idiot and clueless on the internet were actually polite and friendly when I was standing in front of them. Even shared a few scotches with the one gentlemen that was going to "slap some sense into me".....turned out he liked me even without slapping me.

These forums are a great spot to get information..........but we would all behave a little better if we knew we had to meet in person once a year.
