question to board

question to boardHello all
I trying to figure out the significance of what was stated in the recent phone update of HW.
They mentioned (I think in the news release as well) that they did not include the 50 odd million debt repayment after the Kinross deal. They made mention if the deal with Kinross was made earlier they would have been able to add this to their recent financial statement release.

My question is...
What is the significance of whether or not it was in the financials or not. There was a recent news release stating this debt repayment (end of March early April). I know the debt repayment is great, just curious why they make mention of this in the conference call. (just to reiterate that the payment was done?)

Thanks in advance.
