The auto industry needed to change, just like the horse carriage industry needed to change when the time came. The price of real estate will correct to reasonable levels in the coming year imo.
Unfortunately, for gold bugs, there will be selling pressure on miners as investors move back to where the action is. Look at the facts...this is a Friday, options expiry, Yamana is cheap and still gently selling off.
The well balanced portfolio is still the best vehicle to profit in the markets imo. Lets face it...if things were really so bad as you say...no one of any intelligence would be in the markets because there would be no way to win.
Most newbie non-diversified gold bugs that joined the party just this year have been punished severely for having a narrow, non-diversified and inflexible investment strategy.
Everyday presents new opportunities to learn and improve. Dogma is out...nimbleness is in.
I expect the Dow and TSX will be 20% higher by the end of the year IMO. I expect some golds and oils to show some improvement in the June to August period. IMO. Yeswecan
