I stand and salute...

I stand and salute...In a solemn moment of silence for a fallen shorter,  I stand and salute Vassa.  With the ACT company flag at half mast,  it is with deep respect that I remember how Vassa warned of this day.  This was always his dream and he was steadfast in his belief that one day we would achieve this moment.  And now he is gone. 

I wipe away a tear,  I hoist the company flag back to full mast,  and smile at the dawning of a bright new day...
