RE: Why all the excitmentThe "excitement" more or less is the general recovery of some of these ill companies that have been serverly beaten to a pulp. I agree that the amount of capital injection needed if more than enough to bypass this company and move onto something else, but I see it more as a spec play, as either a buy target by someone with the ability to raise such cash. Gotta have one of these in your basket.
As for your comment "the mine only has 20+ years life span". Fairly ignorant comment, what do you look for in a mine life? Economics generally are useless past this point and the first 10 years give you the base and profitibility of the project before assumptions become unrealistic to predict. Not sure what kind of investor you are but thats a significant resource size to base a mine off considering alot of this property is open at depth not to mention a certain iron ore resource only begun to define.
Certainly not worth pumping, but certainly not worth turning a blind eye to, this deposit will eventually be swooped up.
