RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Farewell ...The deal itself was never in question - it was a matter of simple reading. Sherbet had stipulated/suggested that an extension was "granted" by Orascom after a deadline of April 15th had been reached. His posts tried to draw a connection to the lack of news out Look (i.e. ORascom needed FT's money in order to finance Globalive's purchase of Look). Sherbet's "72 hour extension" which he claimed ended on the 20th of April - NEVER actually existed. He was simply misreading the news article and assumed that the extension started on the 15th rather than ending on the 15th.

A very simple mistake - but it spawned a number of posts in which the aforementioned connection was a "sherbet".
