Nickel

NickelI really don't care one way or another whether Liberty makes it or not. I don't have any money in it now.
But since I have been following Liberty for quite a while, and have actually made money on the stock, I'm interested in how they do. I think they messed up big time, and I don't mind pointing out their weaknesses to the mindless pumpers who have been promoting this company all the way from $4 to now... where it's not trading.
You're probably right and Liberty will resume trading eventually. The OSC will rescind the permanent trading ban. My point was the optics are terrible. All Liberty officials had to do was show they cared and showed up at the OSC hearing. They chose not to, and a temporary trading ban was replaced with a permanent one. Yeah, it's just a technicality in the big scheme of things but it doesn't look good.

p.s. Whaler. I know you didn't ask me but yes JJ can take Liberty private. If they convert their preferreds to voting stock, it'll be really easy. As it is now, Liberty is nothing more than a subsidiary of JJ anyway,
