RE: RE: Welcome All NewcomersBearpaws,
My $0.02 opinion is that management/board really hasn't really decided which way they want to go yet and that the recommendations in the resource report is going to guide them. I think it will depend on their ability to raise more money. Total speculation on my part is that if the resource report is strong enough that it allows them to raise a lot more money then they will not accept offers to be bought and go get that money and start tackling the blue sky resources to the west towards the West Goldbrook shaft while making plans to build a mine. If the results are "mediocre" then I think they start a smaller in-fill drilling on the existing AB&C parcels to raise the Measured & Indicated higher using the financial resources they've got on hand and start looking for a buyer.
Having walked over the property and geography, and since this property was the site of previous producing mines (and there are many other smaller historical ones in the area - it's not called Goldboro for no reason) my gut (aided by talking with those who've been down in the mine) tells me there is a mountain of gold under the surface here, the main challenge has been to quantify it using procedures and practices that match the deposit's geology and modern scientific practices that investors put faith in.
The dilution provisions that were recently adopted to prevent a take-over lead me to believe that management is not going to accept anything but a good bid from a purchaser or they'll mine it themselves. Purchasers - Barrick Gold comes to mind as they certainly should be aware of this deposit through their acquisition of Placer Dome who previously had an option on the property and provided technical assistance. Gammon Lake also comes to mind as a potential purchaser or funding source - Freddy George lives in Halifax and has the money. I know the county and province will be very supportive of any development in this area and mining is in NS blood and with lots of heavy equipment operators and engineers returning from AB they will be happy to put them to work at home.
I've got both short and long term positions on the stock. They're going to do well and I hope so will I.
