RE: RE: RE: RE: Severstal trying to sell assets

RE: RE: RE: RE: Severstal trying to sell assetsBelieve whatever you like. I explained my acquisition of a substantial position at very low prices, against a small position at high prices. I also lowered my ACB continually. In the end I actually have made a small net, but still have a position and await the outcome. I think some of my investments posted publicly on the visible portfolio, before, not after the fact speak for themselves. As for HRG. I always tell people to do their own dd, understand their risk/reward (which many do not, imo) My position now is also clear. These Russian folks have had their chance to communicate to investors, to change the way the shareholders are treated and approached, and have not done much. I said, maybe they can manage the mines, and one may believe, if they choose, that the outcome will be favorable. I do not see it as much of a good risk/reward, in terms of huge upside, but probably slightly weighted in favour of some upside, or else I would sell my remaining holdings.
When I can see more opportunity elsewhere, with greater risk/reward, I go there. Notice that what I have recommended the most strongly has moved substantially. And I reiterate: Geron, for those who go and do their own dd.
Frustration is an interesting thing, where the messenger often gets the blame, and the real culprits shroud themselves in BS. Here, it is very simple actually: HRG management and the board of directors have brought you this performance. No shareholder is to blame for the current stock price, as any look at the history here would clearly indicate. If you believe that somehow, between this ridiculous history, a very poor past and present investor relations campaign(IMO) and the current activities puzzle, whatever they turn out to actually be, there is going to be a fantastic outcome, then you invest. If you see or feel the opportunity has changed, then you take appropriate actions. Blaming the current situation on a sharholder, however is a joke, and speaks volumes as to who may be commenting. Do some of you live in Russia perhaps.  ROFLMAO
