RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: What I need foWell that depends on whether or not Peter Block is a liar.
He indicated that the spectrum sale could go ahead without resolving the legal dispute with Bell.
If he was lying, and the deal couldn't get done without resolving the dispute, than you have to realise that any deal would probably directly involve Bell (despite higher offers being tendered).
If he was telling the truth - then yes, this was probably the best offer on the table.
We won't know unless someone comes forward and tells us what the other bids were. Look sure won't do this, as it won't be in their best interest (nor in B & R's either).
The way this has gone done, I suspect we were had. It's all too convenient if you ask me. 80 million for the spectrum + broadcast license, and the legal issues just up and disappear? How about that? Amazing isn't it?
It's pretty clear that this deal was done without consideration to us, the comman shareholder. The company has been silent on the matter, Peter Block can't be reached, or won't respond to inquiries, etc etc.
Where do you think that 80 million is going to go? LOL. It's not being distributed to the shareholders. It'll get paid out as severance packages, bonuses, etc...so in a way, certain shareholders will ahve their value maximised, but the majority won't.
