Why did Inverness buy Biosite and not RBM???

Why did Inverness buy Biosite and not RBM???Because the MADE MONEY!!!!!  And, they built the company by attacking one specific market at a time...DOB...Cardiac...not gimicks like west nile, biodefense, TB, etc.
