Anything is possible

Anything is possible

Peruvian precious metals miner Buenaventura is in talks to buy controlling stakes in two Argentine junior miners, the company's top official said on Thursday.

"The idea in these specific projects is that we'd have a majority participation, or 100 percent control," Chief Executive Roque Benavides said at the Reuters Latin American Investment Summit in Lima.-reuters found on inka Kola

*************

Is it possible cero morro is in buenaventuras sights? The cero morro potential extends well beyond the upcoming resource estimate for the esperenza vein.. Exeter has a slew of drill results to indicate that potential. Throw in the exeter controlled prospective land package in the vicinity of cero morro plus the adjoining formicruz land package picked up from the Argentinian government and exeter controls a very large land package in an area that exeter may be turning into well at least one very high grade mine and....possibly more....

The market is definitely not awarding cero morro much value at the moment. If buenaventura is interested the time to strike would be just after the resource estimate is released and before the market and exeter shareholders can grasp the potential of their holdingsin the cero morro area... We'll know soon enough if buenaventura is serious... I do know that buenaventura would not ordinarily show its hand and signal a move to acquire controlling positions in  a couple of junior miners unless it implied some kind of a threat like comply and work out a good deal for both parties or else we'll take you out at a much cheaper price in the market place...

speculation? for sure. But there aren't too many opportunities in the argentinian junior mining sector...while cero morro is garnering little if any value in the exeter stock price given caspiche...It is OK to dream but in my estimation cero morro would be on a list of properties that fit onto buenaventuras potential acquiitory lists... what do you think?
