Paladin Energy Ltd is an Australia-based independent uranium producer with a 75% ownership of the world-class long life Langer Heinrich Mine (LHM) located in Namibia. The Company also owns a portfolio of uranium exploration and development assets in Canada and Australia. Its segments include Exploration, Namibia and Australia. The LHM is located in central western Namibia approximately 80 kilometers (km) east of Swakopmund and 85 km northeast of the Walvis Bay major deepwater harbor. Its exploration projects include Michelin, Manyingee and Mount Isa. The Company, through its subsidiary Aurora Energy Ltd, holds a 100% interest in over 98,320 hectares of mineral exploration licenses. These are located within the Central Mineral Belt of Labrador, Canada. It has a 100% interest in the Manyingee Project. This project is a sandstone hosted uranium project consisting of 41 Mlb across two deposits. It wholly-owns a project comprised of three promising uranium exploration sites in Queensland.

Production of 685,874lb of U3O8 for the quarter at the Langer HeinrichUranium Project in Namibia (up 40% from same period last year) and hasexceeded nameplate design production for the third consecutive fullquarter. Production for the nine months was 2,010,410lb.
- LangerHeinrich Stage II production expansion to 3.7Mlb per annum isundergoing commissioning and finalising construction. Production rampshould be completed in the June 2009 quarter and nameplate designthroughput is expected from July 2009. Expenditure to 31 March 2009 wasUS$35M. The Stage III expansion proposal is to be presented for Boardapproval in June 2009.
- Sales of Langer Heinrich uraniumconcentrate for the quarter of 453,000lb U3O8 averaging US$54/lb. Salesof Langer Heinrich uranium concentrate for the nine months of1,576,000lb U3O8 averaging US$56/lb.
- Kayelekera Uranium Project(3.3Mlb per annum) officially opened - construction remains on trackwith commissioning commenced in January 2009 and production ramp-upcommenced in April. Expect to reach full nameplate production inJanuary 2010.
