Destinator to feature Blom’s aerial imagery, 3D Cities
Greek PND supplier MLS is first customer
Intrinsyc Software International, today announced a broad-based partnership with the Blom Group which includes the integration of Blom’s oblique aerial images and 3D City Models into Destinator, the GPS navigation software from Intrinsyc.
Blom’s oblique aerial imagery, based on the Pictometry technology covers over 1,000 cities across Europe. So far Blom’s 3D PhotoNav data was only used by NDrive navigation software. Adding Destinator is an important step forward into the PND market for Blom.
First contract signed with MLS
MLS, a leading provider of Personal Navigation Devices (PNDs) for the Greek market, is already using Blom’s imagery into a first PND powered by Destinator. Customers now have access to 3D PhotoNav images for thousands of landmarks and several cities in Greece, including Athens and Thessaloniki.
